Austin City Limits Music Festival 2017 - Lineup Announced!

Austin City Limits (ACL) Music Festival is returning this year to Zilker Park, Austin - the Live Music Capital of the World - for another two weekends of great music and food! One of the most anticipated festivals of the year, the ACL will be held on October 6-8 and October 13-15, featuring a diverse lineup of acts with eight stages and more than 140 bands, spanning genres including rock, indie, country, folk, hip hop, and electronic.

Artists performing at the ACL this year includes Chance the Rapper, Jay Z, Solange, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Killers, Ice Cube, just to name a few. But the ACL is known for more than its music - the festival's food court Austin Eats features some of Austin's finest restaurants, and delivers delicious gourmet festival food, such as Chi'lantro's Kimchi Fries, East Side King's Thai Brussels sprout salad, Tiff's Treats' Ice Cream Sandwich, and many more. Attendees can also explore the ACL's Art Market in between performances, and shop for goods from local and national artisans.

As if all this was not good enough, the festival has formed ACL Cares, a section of the festival that supports good causes and encourages festival attendees to support local community and organizations such as The Nature Conservancy and Headcount. As of now, ACL Fest fans have contributed more than $20 million towards the improvement of Zilker Park and other parks across Austin, through their patronage of ACL Festival.

The Music Festival is inspired by Austin City Limits, a music performance television show that is recorded live in Austin, Texas, and airs weekly on PBS. It is the longest-running music program in television history, the only one to have been awarded the National Medal of the Arts, and recently ranked among the top 10 most influential music programs of all time in Time Magazine. The show helped Austin become widely known as the "Live Music Capital of the World", and contributed to the success of the ACL Music Festival, which is attended by more than 450,000 people each year.
